Night Guards
According to the American Dental Association, approximately 10-15% of adults clench or grind their teeth at night otherwise known as bruxism. This can cause permanent damage to your teeth, muscles and jaw. Jersey Brothers Dental makes custom nightguards for patients who suffer from bruxism.
During your first appointment for a nightguard, Dr. Cho will make a custom mold of your teeth on the top and bottom. After your nightguard has been fabricated, you will come back for your second appointment to ensure a proper fit. Dr. Cho may also recommend other treatments as well including stress management, medication for pain in the muscles, exercises to relax the jaw or restorative work on the teeth.
